By installing or using bite-me(the “App”) you agree to these Terms of Use. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the App.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) to use the App.
2. Accounts
You’re responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for all activity under your account. Tell us at info@biteme-app.com if you suspect unauthorised use.
3. The service
bite-me lets students discover meal offers from partner restaurants and lets providers publish offers and redeem them via QR scanning. Availability, content, and pricing of offers are decided by the providers. We don’t guarantee any specific offer will be available at any specific time.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the App for fraud, abuse, or harassment.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disrupt the App.
- Upload content you don’t have the right to share.
- Misuse provider features (fake check-ins, redeeming offers you’re not entitled to).
We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these rules.
5. Provider responsibilities
Restaurant/provider accounts are responsible for the accuracy of their listings, the safety and quality of the food they serve, and compliance with all applicable laws (food safety, consumer protection, allergen disclosure, advertising).
6. Intellectual property
The App, its branding, and underlying software are owned by us or our licensors. You retain ownership of content you upload but grant us a worldwide, royalty-free licence to host and display it solely to operate the App.
7. Disclaimers
The App is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. We don’t guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation and we’re not responsible for the food, service, or conduct of any provider listed in the App.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for any claim relating to the App is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim or €20.
9. Termination
You may stop using the App at any time and delete your account from settings. We may terminate or suspend access for breach of these Terms or for operational, legal, or security reasons.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Switzerland. Disputes will be resolved in the competent courts of Chavannes-près-Renens.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
